Attention! The double-row roller bearing does not require any adjustments and has a lubricant that ensures the bearing will function for the entire service life of the vehicle. When installing the bearing, it is necessary to use a new retaining ring.


1. Remove the steering knuckle together with the hub from the vehicle.

2. Place the steering knuckle on stands and use a tubular drift fitted to the inner end of the flange to press the flange out of the bearing. If the inner bearing race remains on the hub, remove it using a bearing puller.

3. Remove the retaining ring (indicated by arrows) bearing mounts on the inside of the steering knuckle.

4. If necessary, install the inner bearing race back and, supporting the inner part of the steering knuckle on stands and using a tubular drift, press the bearing out of the steering knuckle.

5. Clean the hub and steering knuckle from dirt and grease.

6. Lubricate the outer bearing ring and the bushing flange with a thin layer of Molykote 321 R grease.

7. Securely fasten the steering knuckle to the stands and install the bearing in it. Install the bearing using a tubular mandrel, which should press on the outer ring of the bearing.



8. Secure the bearing with a new retaining ring, which should fit into the grooves in the steering knuckle.

9. Place the bushing with the outer side on the support and install the inner bearing ring on the end of the bushing flange. Install the bearing using a tubular mandrel that presses on the inner bearing ring.

10. Install the steering knuckle together with the hub on the vehicle.
