Adjusting the fuel level in the float chamber
1. Remove the air filter with pipes.
2. Unscrew the fuel lines from the carburetor cover and close them with plugs.
3. Remove the carburetor cover.
4. Turn the carburetor cap together with the gasket to a horizontal position.
5. Verify that the float is in this position using the appropriate test gauge (pattern should line up with floats).
6. If necessary, adjust the float setting by bending or bending the float tongue (1 - tongue shoulder before adjustment).
Idle adjustment
Verification conditions:
- the engine must be warmed up to the temperature of normal operation;
- the starting device must be turned off;
- the air filter must be installed and have a clean filter element;
- the intake and exhaust systems must be tight;
- all consumers of electrical energy must be turned off (e.g. electric fan, lights, etc.).
1. Check and, if necessary, adjust the idle speed with the throttle valve adjusting screw.
2. Check the CO content in the exhaust gases and, if necessary, adjust with a screw (1) mixture quality (the screw is deepened in the carburetor body and closed with a special plug).
3. Check idle speed again and adjust if necessary.
