Note: Since the oil filter must also be removed when removing the oil radiator, the filter must be handled with care to avoid damaging it. Therefore, in such cases it is recommended to remove the filter only with a special key. If the filter does not need to be replaced, it can be reinstalled.
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Place the front of the vehicle on jack stands.
3. Drain the coolant (see the relevant chapter) or use clamps to clamp the hoses that connect the oil radiator to the engine cooling system. A small amount of coolant will still leak out.

4. Place a suitable container under the oil filter and remove the filter.
5. Loosen the coolant hose clamps on the oil radiator and disconnect the hoses.
6. Unscrew the oil radiator mounting bolts and remove the radiator together with the sealing gasket.
7. Install the new O-ring into the groove on the back of the oil cooler and install the cooler onto the cylinder block. Tighten the oil cooler mounting bolt to 58 Nm and connect the coolant hoses to it.
8. Reinstall the oil filter.
9. Lower the vehicle onto its wheels and add coolant or top it up.
10. Check the engine oil level and add oil if necessary.
11. Start the engine. After some time, inspect the oil radiator and make sure there is no coolant or engine oil leakage.
