When using cruise control, observe the following rules:
- Do not use the system when reverse gear is selected.
- Do not use the system on winding or slippery roads or in other conditions where it is difficult to maintain a constant speed, such as roads with heavy traffic.
- If you are not going to use the cruise control system, ALWAYS turn off the main switch.
- For gasoline powered vehicles, do not place your foot under the accelerator pedal when the cruise control system is engaged. This can lead to leg pinching.
The cruise control system is operated using a switch block arranged on a handle mounted on the left side of the steering column (see relevant paragraph in paragraph 2).
