Note: EOBD: "European On-Board Diagnostics, Emissions Diagnostics".

This diagnostics allows informing the driver that the equipment for reducing toxicity is no longer fulfilling its task. System errors that cause increased emissions of toxic substances are recorded in the memory of the fuel injection system computer.

The engine diagnostic indicator allows, in addition to its normal functions, to report malfunctions of the emission control system (EOBD).

The EOBD diagnostic system requires the installation of another oxygen sensor at the outlet of the catalytic converter.
