Changing engine oil
Periodic oil and oil filter changes are the most important preventative maintenance procedure. During operation, engine oil ages—it becomes liquid and contaminated, which leads to premature engine wear.
The oil should be changed immediately after driving, with the engine still warm, so that the oil and any contaminants drain better.
It is recommended to change the oil using a vacuum suction unit.

The upper end of the tube for the engine oil level indicator has an increased diameter, which allows connection of a 14 mm diameter oil intake of a vacuum unit for oil suction.
Place a collecting pan under the engine to collect any leaking engine oil.
Remove the engine oil level indicator.
Remove the cap from the oil filler neck.
Install a 14mm diameter oil pickup tube in place of the engine oil level indicator and pump out the oil from the engine.
Replace the oil filter.
Fill the engine with oil of the appropriate grade.
On turbocharged engines, after changing the oil and oil filter at the first start, the engine should be run at idle speed until the oil pressure warning light goes out. If you increase the engine speed while the light is on, the turbocharger may fail.
Note: To drain the oil, unscrew the oil drain plug from the oil pan.
Checking the engine oil level
Check the engine oil level. If the oil level is low, add oil in small amounts until the oil level reaches the area between the "Min" and "Max" marks on the oil level dipstick.
If the oil level is at the "Min" mark, adding about another liter will raise the oil level to the optimum level. Close the filler neck with a lid.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for oil leaks around the filter and the drain plug on the pan. Please note that the oil pressure warning light may stay on for a few seconds (until the oil fills the entire lubrication system).
Stop the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain into the pan. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
