Precautionary measures
The old and new codes are stored in memory and can be used.
If the code is not confirmed, the ignition must be turned off and then on again and the code entered again.
If before pressing the key WITH if more than four digits were specified as a code, only the first four are entered into memory.
If the red and green indicator lights come on at the same time, this indicates that an error was made when entering numbers or the system is faulty.
Turn the ignition off and then on again and try entering again.
If the system malfunction persists, please contact the workshop.
Blocking neutralization mode (entering a neutral code)
Only in this mode, with the ignition off, can the start lock be removed.
Turn on the ignition.
First method: Enter the given code and then press the D/N key (slowdown/neutralization) and hold it for more than two seconds.
Second method: Proceed as when changing the code, but instead of the new code, enter 0000.
To exit the ignition immobilizer neutralization mode and reactivate the immobilizer, enter your code with the ignition on.
The neutralization mode is used when the vehicle is handed over for repair. The code that was entered and constantly used remains in memory. Only the one who knows it can change it.
After receiving the vehicle from repair, you must exit the neutralization mode by entering your code with the ignition on. There is no need to enter a new code.
Important! If the code is lost or forgotten, you must contact an authorized PEUGEOT dealer, who will perform a fairly complex procedure to unlock the engine.
The engine start blocking occurs automatically after the ignition is turned off, as well as when all doors are locked or when one of the front doors is opened, but no later than one hour after the ignition is turned off.
Postponement of the blocking activation time
If the D/N button is pressed with the ignition on, the fuel injection system is blocked only after one hour. During this time, the engine can be started without entering the code.
When the activation time has arrived, the lock is confirmed after the ignition is turned off by flashing the green indicator light and an audible signal.
To enter real-time mode, press the D/N key.
The system blocking is signaled as follows:
Real-time blocking
The red indicator light stays on for 10 seconds after activation and then switches to a flashing mode until the ignition is turned on.
Blocking in the activation time transfer mode
The red indicator light starts flashing only after activation. This position remains until the ignition is turned on.
