Vehicle identification plate (A, Figure 1.3) is located in the engine compartment and is attached to the right on the upper front part of the side wall. Additional location depends on the body version: for example, on a car with a hatchback body, the plate is located in the trunk.
Body serial number (B, see figure 1.3) located depending on the body version.
The vehicle identification number (VIN) is a 17-digit number according to EEC standards and is stamped on the front shield of the engine compartment (C, see figure 1.3), in addition to its standard location, there are several options for additional application.
The engine number on petrol models is located on the front of the cylinder block, below the cylinder head gasket.
Permissible tire size and body color code (D, see figure 1.3) are written on the plate, which is located on the middle (central) pillar on the driver's side. The plate contains the following:
- wheel and tire size;
- tire brands approved by the manufacturer;
- tire pressure;
- designation of the body paint color.
