Electrical characteristics of the light and rain sensor (Peugeot 207)

Black 4-pin electrical connector "j":

• "j1" — channel 1 +BAT connected;
• "j2" - channel 2 CAN CAR High;
• "j3" - channel 3 "ground";
• "j4" — channel 4 CAN CAR Low.

The range of temperatures in the car interior acceptable for the rain sensor and external lighting brightness: from -30°C to 85°C.

The rain and outdoor light brightness sensor is sensitive to visible light with wavelengths from 380 to 780 nm.

Voltage to the rain and outside light brightness sensor is supplied from the "+" terminal of the battery when the body network is activated.

The body network is activated when the door is opened, when the vehicle is unlocked, or when the engine is started (presence of +ARS voltage).
