Removal
Place the car on a lift.
Disconnect the battery.
Caution: Wait at least one hour before performing any work on the exhaust system.
Remove the battery and its rear support.
Raise the vehicle. Disconnect the connector in area "a".
Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor wiring (2) from the clamps in areas "b" and "c".
Cut off plastic ties "b" and "c".
Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor (2).

Installation
Note: Before removing the exhaust gas temperature sensor, lubricate it with a soapy water solution.
Install the remaining parts in reverse order.
Install the exhaust gas temperature sensor (2) (tightening torque 20±3 Nm).
Secure the exhaust gas temperature sensor wiring using new clamps "b" and "c".
Install the remaining parts in reverse order.
