Oil Pressure Check Procedure (Diesel Engines) (Peugeot 207)

Check the oil level.

On the DV6TED4 engine, remove the air intake nozzle (1).

Remove the protective cover (2).

Remove the protective cover (2).


Remove the filter element from the protective cover.

Install the filter element onto the oil filter support.

Note: When removing, use a rag to protect the engine from oil leaking from the hole.


Install the 1503-E engine oil pressure pickup nipple onto the oil heat exchanger in area "b".

Install the 1503-E engine oil pressure pickup nipple onto the oil heat exchanger in area «b».


Install a pressure gauge to measure oil pressure.

Start the engine.

Note: Checking the oil pressure is carried out with the engine hot after checking the oil level.


Compare the read values with the data given in the table "Data for checking the lubrication system (all engines)".

Reinstall the previously removed components.

If necessary, top up the engine oil level.
