Oil Pressure Check Procedure (EP6DT Petrol Engines) (Peugeot 207)

Caution: Install plugs on the air filter inlet and outlet and on the turbocharger inlet.


Disconnect the air supply pipe from the turbocharger (1) and remove the air supply pipe (2).

Disconnect the air supply pipe from the turbocharger (1) and remove the air supply pipe (2).


Move the wire harness groove (4) upward.

Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector (3).

Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector (3).


Install the auxiliary equipment as described in Chapter "Oil Pressure Checking Procedure (petrol engines EP33, EP6)".

Connect the pressure gauge to the oil pressure tap. Remove the plugs.

Reinstall the turbocharger air supply pipe (1). Start the engine.

Measure and record the oil pressure readings.

Compare the pressure values with the values given in the table "Data for checking the lubrication system (all engines)".

Note: Only perform engine work if the measured values are below the values given in the table.


Remove all attachments.

Caution: When reinstalling, all removed seals must be replaced with new ones.


Reinstall the previously removed components.

If necessary, top up the engine oil level.
