Petrol engines
Caution. Before performing any work on the fuel circuit, relieve the pressure in the fuel supply system using the nipple (in area "c"). Release the fuel pipe from the clamps (in area "a") and lower it into a container to drain the fuel.
Disconnect the fuel pipe in area "b".
Connect the 1604 B/C fuel filter bleed hose to the fuel pipe (in area "b").
Attach the connecting hose to the 1604-A Pressure Gauge.
Start the engine.
Check for leaks.
Increase the pressure and read the resulting value: 5±0.2 bar.
Turn off the engine.
To avoid fuel leakage when disconnecting the fuel fittings, bleed the fuel supply system using the fitting in zone "c". Reinstall the removed components:
Start the engine again and check the system for leaks.
