Adjusting the idle speed of the Bosch pump
1 - flow support screw,
2 - idle speed screw,
k = 5–6 mm
Adjustment of flow and idle speed with increased speed (Bosch pump)
3 - lever,
4 - idling rod with an increased number of revolutions,
5 - idle speed screw with increased speed,
A - plate 1 mm thick
The engine must be warm, the idling rod with an increased number of revolutions must be free (clearance k = 5–6 mm).
Idle adjustment
1. Loosen the flow rate adjusting screw a few turns (1) (see fig. Adjusting the idle speed of the Bosch pump).
2. With idle screw (2) set the engine speed to 750–800 rpm.
Flow control
1. Set the record (A) (see fig. Adjustment of flow and idle speed with increased speed (Bosch pump)) 1 mm thick between lever (3) and an idle speed screw with an increased number of revolutions (1) (see fig. Adjusting the idle speed of the Bosch pump).
2. With flow stop screw (1) set the engine speed to 20-30 rpm higher than the idle speed.
Idle adjustment with increased speed
1. Connect idle rod with increased RPM (4) (see fig. Adjustment of flow and idle speed with increased speed (Bosch pump)) with support screw (5).
2. Changing the position of the support screw (5), set the speed to 950±50 rpm.
