The installation of the jet thrust is shown in figure 142. The thrust rod is removed, for example, when adjusting the longitudinal tilt of the kingpin to replace the adjusting washers on the rear support, that is, on the chassis.
To remove, unscrew the nut on the rear support and remove the mounted parts, unscrew the nut from the bottom of the wishbone and pull the reaction rod out of the wishbone and out of the mount on the frame. Pay attention to the arrangement of parts.
Installation is carried out in reverse order. Be sure to place the washers in the same order. Tighten the mounting nuts on the frame and on the wishbone to the specified tightening torques.
