Increased fuel consumption

• The air filter element is dirty or clogged (chapter 1).
• The engine management system is faulty (chapter 4).
• High Pressure Fuel System Malfunction - Diesel Engines (chapter 4).
• Low tire pressure ("Weekly checks"),
• Brake drag (chapter 9).

Fuel leak and/or odor

• Mechanical damage or corrosion of the fuel tank, lines or connections (chapter 4).

Increased noise or smoke from the exhaust system

• Leak in the exhaust system or at the manifold joints (chapter 1 and 4).
• Leakage, corrosion or mechanical damage to mufflers or pipes (chapter 1 and 4).
• Contact with the body or suspension due to damage to the fasteners (chapter 1 and 4).
