Removal and installation the steering gear (Peugeot 207)

Removal

Place the car on a lift.

Note: Set the front wheels straight ahead and lock the steering wheel in this position.

Remove the front subframe (see the corresponding operation).

Loosen the nuts (1) of the studs and remove the steering gear.

Note: Remove and save washers for future use.

Caution: Do not separate the steering gear from the electric motor.

Installation

Install the parts in reverse order.

Check and adjust the front chassis.
