Fuel gauge:
f - 0 liters;
g - 25 liters;
h - 50 liters.
Note: When ignited, the arrow may fluctuate for 1 to 3 seconds before settling into a fixed position.
The phase of vehicle operation without movement
11 seconds after the ignition is switched off, the fuel level is measured and recorded. The level displayed on the instrument panel is also recorded. When the ignition is switched on again, the fuel level is measured again.
If the measured value differs from the value obtained the last time the ignition was turned off, the ECU considers that refueling has occurred and takes into account the new amount of fuel.
If the values are identical, the ECU adopts the last value displayed on the instrument cluster.
The phase of vehicle operation during movement
The ECU determines the fuel level to display depending on:
- from fuel consumption via engine computer;
- from information from the fuel level sensor.
Minimum Fuel Level warning
Low Fuel Warnings (alarms, sound signals, messages) are supplied when the fuel level is below 5 liters.
Emergency operation mode
In case of a network error or an invalid value received from the instrument panel, the pointer returns to zero 5 seconds after the error occurs. During this period, the display shows the last value received.
