Location of the camshaft position sensor
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the decorative engine cover.
Disconnect the connectors in areas "a" and "b".
Loosen the bolts (3).
Move aside the wiring harness support (2).
Attention: Use a mirror to perform further operations (if necessary).
Disconnect the connector in area "c".
Loosen the bolt (5) and remove the camshaft position sensor (4).
Install the camshaft position sensor (4) and bolt (5) (without delay).
Reusable sensor
Place a 9.5mm drill bit in area "d".
Install the camshaft sensor (4) against the stop on a drill with a diameter of 9.5 mm. Tighten the bolt (5) with a torque of 4 Nm. Connect the connector in zone "c".
New sensor
Install the camshaft position sensor (4) so that it touches the target (camshaft sprocket).
Tighten the bolt (5) to 4 Nm. Connect the connector in zone "c".
Install the parts in reverse order.
