1 - manual pressure reducing pump type FACOM DA 16.


Checking the vacuum source (vacuum pump)



Align tool 1 with notch "a".

Start the engine.

The value should be equal to 1±0.2 bar.

Boost Pressure Control Solenoid Valve



Connect tool 1 to vacuum inlet "b" of solenoid valve (1).

Start the engine.

The value should be equal to 1±0.2 bar.

Cold air circuit solenoid valve



Connect tool 1 to the vacuum input "c" of the solenoid valve (2).

Start the engine.

Hot air circuit solenoid valve



Connect tool 1 to vacuum inlet "d" of solenoid valve (3).

Connect tool 1 to vacuum inlet «d» of solenoid valve (3).


Start the engine.

The value should be equal to 1±0.2 bar.

The value should be equal to 1±0.2 bar.


Checking the hot air supply



Remove the air pipes (4) and (5) and the air manifold (6).

Remove the air pipes (4) and (5) and the air manifold (6).


Connect the device 1 to the hot air damper control tank in zone "e".



Apply a vacuum of about 0.7±0.2 bar (hot air damper "f" must be fully open).

Apply a vacuum of about 0.7±0.2 bar (hot air damper «f» must be fully open).


Checking for hot air supply failure



Connect the device 1 to the hot air damper control tank at "g".

Apply a vacuum of approximately 0.65±0.2 bar (cold air flap "h" must be fully open).

Apply a vacuum of approximately 0.65±0.2 bar (cold air flap «h» must be fully open).


Install the parts in reverse order.
