These drive shafts have:
- SHRUS (silent block) with fixed tripod, wheel side (A);
- SHRUS (silent block) with movable tripod, gearbox side (IN).
They also have the following features:
- SHRUS (1) from the side of the wheel (called GE or outdoor «Glaenzer»);
- SHRUS (2) from the gearbox side (called GI or internal «Glaenzer»).
The diameters of the hinge and sliding tripod are decisive for the classification of the drive shaft. The connecting shaft may be solid or hollow.
The protective cover is determined by the type of seal.
Example:
- GE 76 - outdoor «Glaenzer» 76 mm;
- GI 69 - internal «Glaenzer» 69 mm.
