The direction of the low beam headlights can be adjusted according to the vehicle load, which avoids blinding oncoming drivers.

The adjustment is carried out by a step-type switch in the form of a knurled wheel (figure 1.62), located on the instrument panel, to the left of the steering wheel.

Positions of the knurled wheel:
  • "0" - 1-2 people in the front seat, no luggage;
  • "—" — 3 people;
  • "1" - 5 people without luggage;
  • "2" - 5 people with luggage;
  • "3" - 1 person (driver), trunk fully loaded.

The initial position of the regulator is "0".
