Note: Do not drain the transmission fluid.
Removing the speed sensor - proceed in the following order:
- disconnect the negative battery cable;
- place the car on a lift;
- disconnect the vehicle speed sensor connector;

- unscrew bolt 2 (figure 6.117) and remove sensor 1.
Install the speed sensor in the following order:
- replace the speed sensor o-ring;
- install the vehicle speed sensor and tighten bolt 2 to 10 Nm;
- connect the contact connector to sensor 1;
- connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
