- * Removal and installation of a head of cylinders.
- d. Removal and installation of the casing of the gas distribution mechanism.
- e. Removing engine mounts.
* These operations can only be performed using special tools "Peugeot".
In the case of the latest models and modifications without removing the engine, the following operations can be additionally performed:
- A. Removing the camshaft drive belt and the camshaft itself.
- b. Removing the pan and oil pump.
- V. Removing the clutch and flywheel (after removing gearbox).
Because the sump and cylinder head on the latest models can be removed with the engine remaining on the machine, in theory it is possible to replace pistons, cylinder liners and connecting rod bearings without removing the engine. However, it is not recommended to do this, because. the job will be much easier if the engine is removed.
