1. For greater reliability, the central main bearing cap on the XR5S engine is additionally secured with two side bolts.
2. When removing the crankshaft, first unscrew the side bolts and only then remove the central main cover.
3. When installing the crankshaft, first tighten the 10 main cap bolts to the required torque and then tighten the side bolts of the center cap (until the moment specified for them).
