- remove the air filter assembly;

- remove element 3 of the ball joint (see figure 6.107) and clamp 2;

- remove handle 2 (figure 6.118) selector lever;
- remove center console 1;

- remove support 2 (figure 6.119) connectors;
- remove switches 1 and selector grille 3;

- unscrew bolts 1 (figure 6.120) and nuts 2;
- raise the car on a lift;
- remove the exhaust pipe hanger;
- remove the heat shield back and remove the gearbox control mechanism.

Install the gearbox control mechanism in the reverse order of removal. To secure the ball joint 1 (figure 6.121) you should rest against the point under gear shift lever 2 using tool 3. Adjust the gear shift drive.
