When carrying out any work, it is necessary to add at least 0.5 liters of fresh working fluid to the gearbox, and update the counter readings using a diagnostic device.
Note: Drain the working fluid after warming up the gearbox.

To drain the working fluid, use a 27 mm wrench to unscrew bolt 1 (figure 6.100) and drain the working fluid.
Fill the gearbox with working fluid in the following order:
- tighten the drain bolt;

- unscrew plug 1 (figure 6.101);
Caution! Do not unscrew bolt 2.
- fill in the required amount of working fluid using the device.
Caution! Use only the recommended grade of working fluid ESSO LT 71141.
Check the level of working fluid in the gearbox in the following order:
1) check for errors using a diagnostic tool;
2) Place the vehicle on a 4-post lift;
3) set the selector lever to position "P" (without parking brake);
4) connect the diagnostic tool;
5) select the parameter measurement function;
6) unscrew the filler plug 1 (see figure 6.101), do not unscrew bolt 2;
7) with the engine running, heat the working fluid to a temperature of 58-68°C;

8) with the engine running, unscrew plug 1 with a 19 mm wrench (figure 6.102);
9) if the working fluid flows out in a thin stream and then starts to drip, the level is correct;
10) update the readings of the working fluid "aging" counter;
11) if the working fluid starts to flow out in the form of drops and then stops dripping, then the following procedure must be performed:
- stop the engine;
- let the engine cool down;
- add 0.5 l of working fluid to the gearbox;
- start the level control procedure again;
- replace the sealing gasket regularly;
- tighten plug 1 to 24 Nm.
