Removal



Disconnect the battery.

Remove the trim (1).

Release the fasteners (2) and remove the left console side trim (3).

Release the fasteners (2) and remove the left console side trim (3).


Relieve pressure in the cooling circuit.

Install the clamps on the hoses (8).

Remove the locking fasteners (4).

Disconnect the hoses (8).

Disconnect the hoses (8).


Note: Drain as much coolant as possible from the heat exchanger using a blower placed at the inlet. Place a container to collect the coolant.


Loosen the bolt (7) and remove the retaining plate (5) and sealing rubber (6).

Remove the mount (9) and air duct (13).

Unscrew the nuts (10).

Disconnect the connector (11).

Remove the accelerator pedal (12).

Remove the accelerator pedal (12).


Loosen the bolts (14).



Loosen the bolts (14).


Disconnect and move aside the left air supply sensor.

Remove the heater heat exchanger by pulling it out (as shown by arrow "A").

Remove the pipes (15) and the heater (16).

Remove the pipes (15) and the heater (16).


Installation



Insert the tubes (15) and heater (16) at the same time.

Connect the tubes (15) to the heater (16) (as shown by arrow "B").

Install the remaining components and mechanisms in reverse order.
