Checking the rear brake drum (Peugeot 207)

Secure the vehicle with a stand placed under the body as close to the jack stand as possible before removing the wheel.

Set the parking brake lever to its lowest position.

Remove the brake drum.



Measure the inner diameter of the brake drums at the friction surface using a caliper (thickness: 250 mm; accuracy: 1/10. See table below).

Note: If the measured inside diameter is greater than the maximum allowable diameter, replace the discs and pads.
