Removal



Place the car on a lift.

Raise and secure the vehicle in the raised position. Remove the rear wheels.

Remove the center console.

Loosen the nut (1).

Disconnect the cables (2) from the parking brake cross arm (3). Disconnect the parking brake cable housings from the body.

Disc brakes



Disconnect the parking brake cable (2) in area "A" (on each side).

Disconnect the parking brake cable (2) in area «A» (on each side).
Disconnect the parking brake cable (2) in area «A» (on each side).


Drum brakes



Remove the rear brake drums. Remove the parking brake cable (2) in area "B" (on each side).

Remove the rear brake drums. Remove the parking brake cable (2) in area «B» (on each side).





Installation



Install the parts in reverse order.

Adjust the tension of the parking brake cables.
