Axial clearance of the crankshaft
The axial clearance is adjusted using two half-rings on support No. 2.
Inserts of supports of radical necks of a cranked shaft
Crankshaft bearing class marking (zone «A»).
Camshaft bearing class marking on remanufactured crankshaft (zone «b»).
Class marking of crankshaft bearings on the crankshaft and on the cylinder block (zone «With»).
The working clearance in the crankshaft bearings is provided by the use of three classes of lower smooth liners (from the side of the crankshaft bearing caps).
Upper liners (grooved)
There is only one class for top liners (grooved) (from the side of the cylinder block). Upper liners with grooves marked in the zone «d» part number.
Bottom liners (smooth)
Note. The positioning of the lower bushings requires the use of a special tool.
The lower bearing shells of the main journals of the crankshaft are marked in the zone «e» colored label. The selection of the correct inserts must be carried out using the pairing table using the markings «A» And «With». The first character corresponds to the root neck No. 5, the second - to the root neck No. 4. and so on.
Note. The main journals of the crankshaft are marked from 1 to 5, the neck No. 1 is located on the flywheel side.
