Removal the heat exchanger (cars with AL4 automatic transmission) (Peugeot 207)

Disconnect the battery.

Remove the front left fender liner.

Remove the deflector (2) and resonator (3).

Release the fuse box (1) from the clips.

Remove the battery tray cover.

Remove the battery.

Remove the battery.


Disconnect the connector (in area "a").

Remove the battery tray (4) and bracket.

Clamp the hoses (5) (in area "b") using clamps.

Remove the clamps (6).

Disconnect the hoses (5).

Unscrew the bolt (7) and remove the sealing washer (11).

Unscrew the bolt (7) and remove the sealing washer (11).
Unscrew the bolt (7) and remove the sealing washer (11).


Remove the heat exchanger (8).



Remove and then install the seals (9), (10) under the heat exchanger.

Remove and then install the seals (9), (10) under the heat exchanger.


Note: If the heat exchanger is not immediately reinstalled, install the protective devices [Za] and [Zb] on the rear panel and on the heat exchanger.


Caution: If the gearbox oil has been contaminated, the heat exchanger must be replaced.


Install the parts in reverse order.
