Removal the intake manifold and throttle valve (EP6DT engines) (Peugeot 207)

Place the car on a lift.

Disconnect the battery.

Remove the following parts:
  • protective cover of the battery;
  • battery;
  • battery bracket;
  • engine protection.

Caution: On vehicles with EP6DT engines, reinstall the plugs at the turbocharger heat exchanger air inlet and outlet, the turbocharger air inlet and outlet, and the air inlet from the intake air distributor.


Remove the following parts:
  • cover (1) of the support plate! (air inlet pipe);
  • air deflector (2);
  • air supply pipe (3) from the turbocharger;
  • air filter cover (4).

Remove the following parts:
  • filter element (5);
  • air filter housing mount (in area "a");
  • fastening (6) of the air supply pipe;
  • mounting plate (7) of the air supply pipe;
  • air inlet pipes (8), (9), (10);
  • air filter housing (11).

Disconnect the connector (in area "b"), Remove the following parts:


  • fastenings of the air outlet tube from the turbocharger (to zone "c");
  • clamps (12) of the turbocharger air outlet pipe;
  • air supply nipple (13) of turbocharger;
  • fasteners (14), (15) of the intermediate inlet tube of the throttle valve.

Loosen the clamp (16).

Remove the intermediate inlet pipe (17) of the throttle valve.

Release the crankcase ventilation tube (18) (in area "d" and "e").

Remove the following parts:
  • clamp (19);
  • the inlet pipe (20) of the throttle valve unit.

Disconnect the air pressure sensor (in area "f").

Loosen the bolts (21) securing the intake manifold.

Loosen the bolts (21) securing the intake manifold.


Disconnect the canister bleed tube (22).

Check the presence and position of the rubber gaskets on the inlet manifold (in zone "d").

Remove the following parts:


  • rear matte mount (23) (on the throttle body);
  • rear bracket mount (24) (on the cylinder block);
  • rear bracket (20) (intake manifold).

Disconnect the tube (10) of the boost pressure control valve.

Move the coolant supply pipe towards the turbocharger.

Loosen bolts (11), (12) and remove turbocharger bracket (13).

Remove the mounting bolt (14) of the oil return pipe (15) from the turbocharger.

Disconnect the oil return pipe (15) from the turbocharger.

Disconnect the oil return pipe (15) from the turbocharger.


Loosen the mounting bolts (16) and remove the turbocharger assembly (17) and exhaust manifold (18).

Loosen the mounting bolts (16) and remove the turbocharger assembly (17) and exhaust manifold (18).


Loosen the mounting bolts (19) of the heat shields.



Remove the lower heat shield (20) and the exhaust manifold gasket (21). Unscrew the exhaust manifold mounting nuts (22).

Separate the exhaust manifold (18), turbocharger (17) and sealing gasket (23).

Attention: All removed seals must be replaced with new ones.

Install the parts in reverse order.
