8 - electromagnetic pressure modulation valve (locking clutch).
The solenoid valves are built into the hydraulic block.
The solenoid valve (7) changes the pressure in the pressure line depending on the gear engaged and the transmitted torque (EVM pressure).
The electromagnetic valve (8) controls the torque converter lock-up clutch (EVM bypass).
The solenoid valves are supplied with 12 V and are activated by a ground connection (ECU). They regulate the hydraulic pressure proportionally to the current coming from the gearbox ECU (cyclically changing current).
