The working fluid temperature sensor is built into the hydraulic unit.

Note: The sensor is welded directly to the internal harness of the hydraulic unit, when replacing it, it is necessary to replace the harness assembly.

Information from the sensor allows you to adjust the pressure of the working fluid in the pressure line, adapt the operation of the gearbox to high temperature conditions (algorithm of work in special conditions).

In addition, the information from the sensor allows the transmission ECU to lock the torque converter or intervene in the torque converter lockup strategy.

The sensor has a built-in resistor with a negative temperature coefficient (CTN) thermistor.

The higher the temperature, the lower the resistance value.
