- loosen the wheel mounting bolts;
- apply the parking brake to the car;
- raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on stands;
- remove the wheel;

- unscrew bolt 1 (figure 7.12) ball joint mounts and disconnect the lower arm from the steering knuckle;
- unscrew nuts 2, 3 securing the lower arm support and remove it.
Install the lower arm in the reverse order of removal.
