Disconnect the windshield washer tube retainer (1).
Disconnect the windshield washer pipe at the connection point (in area "a").
Unscrew the nuts (2) and remove the hood (3).
Bonnet hinge lever
Remove the air intake grille (see section 7 "Electrical equipment").
Turn away (on each side) mounting bolts (4) and (5) and remove the bonnet hinge lever (6).
Soundproofing and windshield washer jets
Using tool [1], release the clamps (7).
Remove the bonnet sound insulation (8).
Disconnect the windshield washer tube from the jets (in area "b").
Disconnect the windshield washer nozzle (9) (in area "c") and remove.
Installation
Install the parts in reverse order.
Perform clearance adjustment and bonnet alignment (see further in this section).
Tightening torques
- Nuts (2): 10 Nm.
- Bolt (4): 5 Nm.
- Bolts (5): 10 Nm.
Note: Check the operation and adjustment of the windshield washer jets.
