9. Drain the fluid (see above) and unscrew the nut of the dipstick guide tube fitting.
10. Unscrew the screws and remove the tray. Clean the inside of the tray and the magnet.

11. The filter is now open and can be removed by unscrewing the 9 mounting bolts.
12. Separate the gasket from the valve block and remove the sealing ring. Both of these parts must be replaced with new ones during assembly.

13. Discard the old mesh filter and install a new one in its frame. Install a new O-ring and a new gasket and place the assembled filter onto the bottom surface of the valve block.
14. Insert and tighten the 9 mounting bolts, making sure that the bolts of the specified length go into their designated places and are tightened to the required torque (see B/Figure 12.73 and the table below).

15. Install the pan with a new gasket and gradually tighten its mounting screws to the required torque.
16. Fill the gearbox with transmission fluid (see above).
| Bolt | X (mm) | Y (mm) | Torque (Nm) |
| 7 | 80 | 12 | 8 |
| 8 | 80 | 10 | b |
| 9 | 70 | 12 | 8 |
| 10 | 65 | 10 | 6 |
| 11 | 60 | 10 | 4 |
