Rear door replacement (Peugeot 207)

Place the support [1] under the rear door (1).

Place the support [1] under the rear door (1).


Loosen the bolts (2).

Move the door (1) in the direction of arrow "A".

Move the door (1) in the direction of arrow «A».


Move aside the door wiring harness cover (3).

Disconnect the connector (4).

Remove the door (1).

Remove the door (1).


Installation and adjustment



Open the front door.

Loosen the fastening of the bolts (5) of the hinges (6).



Note: If more door clearance adjustments are required, the positioning pin (7) can be removed using a pin extractor.


Loosen the bolt (9) and remove the centering pin (8).

Loosen the bolt (9) and remove the centering pin (8).


Loosen the bolt (10) a quarter turn to allow the door to close without hitting the bracket (11).

Loosen the bolt (10) a quarter turn to allow the door to close without hitting the bracket (11).


Install the door (1) using the support [1].

Reconnect the connectors (4).

Tighten the bolts (2).

Loosen the bolts (2) again by ¼ turn.

Tighten and loosen the bolts (5) of the hinges (6) by ¼ turn.

Tighten and loosen the bolts (5) of the hinges (6) by ¼ turn.


Adjust and check the gaps and align the door using bolts (2), (5), (10).



After completing the adjustment, tighten:
  • bolts (2) with a torque of 19 Nm;
  • bolts (5) with a torque of 19 Nm;
  • bolts (10) with a torque of 17 Nm.

Check the door for leaks.

Install the parts in reverse order.

Check the operation of electrical equipment.
