Remove the luggage compartment threshold trim (see below).
Loosen the bolts (1) and remove the lock bracket (2).
Install the parts in reverse order.
Adjustment
Note: To adjust the lock bracket, remove the guides (4) by releasing the fasteners (3) (using a thin screwdriver).
Set the lock bracket (2) to the uppermost position.
Tighten and loosen the bolts (1) by ¼ turn.
Replace the trunk seal.
Close the tailgate.
Adjust the gaps and align.
Open the trunk door.
Tighten the bolts (1) to 8 Nm. Reinstall the boot opening trim (depending on the configuration).
