Disconnect the battery.

Remove:
  • additional brake light;
  • windshield wiper blade;
  • registration plate.

Disconnect the trim panels (1) of the luggage compartment door opening pillars (in area "A").

Remove the trim panels (1).

Disconnect the tailgate trim panels (2) (in area "B"). Remove the tailgate trim (2).

Disconnect the tailgate trim panels (2) (in area «B»). Remove the tailgate trim (2).
Disconnect the tailgate trim panels (2) (in area «B»). Remove the tailgate trim (2).


Disconnect the connector (3) from the wiper motor (4).

Unlock and simultaneously pull the fastening element (5) (using a screwdriver in the direction of arrows "C - D").

Repeat this operation for other fasteners.

Repeat this operation for other fasteners.


Turn the windscreen wiper motor (4) (in the direction of arrow "E").



Move aside and remove the windscreen wiper motor (4).

Move aside and remove the windscreen wiper motor (4).

Disconnect:
  • connector (6) of the tailgate opening handle;
  • connectors for license plate lights (7).

Remove the fasteners (8) (decorative element of the license plate light (10).

Release the fasteners (9) and remove the decorative element of the license plate light.

Release the fasteners (9) and remove the decorative element of the license plate light.


Release the license plate lights (11) from the clips (in zone "F") and remove.



Release the license plate lights (11) from the clips (in zone «F») and remove.


Remove the fasteners (12) of the tailgate lock (13).

Remove the fasteners (12) of the tailgate lock (13).


Remove the tailgate lock (13).

Disconnect the connector (14).

Disconnect the connector (14).


Disconnect the connectors (15) of the rear window heater (16) (on each side).

Disconnect the connectors (15) of the rear window heater (16) (on each side).


Remove the wire harnesses (17) through the openings in area "G".



Remove the wire harnesses (17) through the openings in area «G».


Remove the glass (18) and the tailgate.

Remove the glass (18) and the tailgate.


Install the parts in reverse order.

Tighten the fasteners (12) to 8 Nm.
