The following operations must be performed at the frequency specified in the section "Routine maintenance" at the beginning of this Guide.
Checking the coolant level
1. The check must be performed on a cold engine.
2. If there are marks on the wall of the expansion tank, check that the liquid reaches the maximum level mark.
3. If there are no marks, press on the expansion tank cap and turn it counterclockwise. Remove the plug. There should be either a plate or a tube inside the filler neck that indicates the maximum and minimum fluid levels. Check that the liquid reaches the maximum level mark.

4. If necessary, add fluid until the maximum level is reached and replace the plug.
Replacing the coolant
5. Drain the coolant and flush the system (see section 4 and section 6). Fill the system with fresh coolant (see section 8).
