Removal



1. Remove the air cleaner assembly as described in paragraph 2.

2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle cam (if applicable).

3. Mark the installation position of the electrical connectors on the throttle body, and then disconnect them by pressing on the corresponding clamps (figure 12.3).

4. Remove the screws and the throttle body from the intake manifold (figure 12.4, a, b). Remove the O-ring from the manifold and discard it; when installing, you should use a new one.

Installation



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following points:

a) Install a new O-ring onto the manifold, then install the throttle body and tighten the screws securely (figure 12.5).

b) Route the electrical wiring correctly and connect the electrical connectors securely.

c) Finally, adjust the accelerator cable (if applicable), as described in paragraph 3.
