- place the car on a lift;
- remove the parking brake console from underneath the vehicle;
- disconnect the parking brake cables;
- remove the spare tire;
- remove the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter;

- disconnect brake pipes 1 (figure 7.18);
- after removal, close the tubes with plugs to prevent brake fluid from leaking out;
- disconnect the ABS sensors;
- place a hydraulic jack under the rear suspension beam and support the beam with it;
- unscrew the four bolts securing the rear beam;
- lower the hydraulic jack and remove the rear suspension beam from the rear of the vehicle.
Install the rear suspension beam in the following order:
Caution! Be careful not to pinch the brake pipes when they get caught between the beam and the body.
- screw in the beam mounting bolts without tightening;

- install two brackets 1 (figure 7.19), to center the rear suspension beam;
- tighten the mounting bolts to 110 Nm;
- remove two staples;
- connect the brake pipes;
- connect the parking brake cables to the equalizer;
- reinstall the exhaust pipe with a new gasket;
- connect ABS sensors;
- bleed the brake hydraulic system;
- put the spare tire back in place;
- adjust the cables; install the parking brake console.
