- lift and secure the vehicle, leaving the rear wheels off the ground;
Caution! Do not lift the vehicle using the center of the rear suspension beam as support.
- remove the rear wheels;
- remove the two plastic protective covers from under the car;

- disconnect the electrical connector of the ABS sensor 1 (figure 6.27);
- to reduce brake fluid loss, remove the cap from the brake system expansion tank, cover the tank neck with polyethylene and screw the cap back on. This is necessary to ensure that the lid seals the expansion tank tightly.
- clamp the rear brake hoses;

- unscrew the brake hoses 1 (figure 6.28), connecting brake lines on the rear beam and the body;
- close the ends of the brake lines with suitable plugs;
- release the parking brake cable from clamp 2;

- disconnect cable 1 (figure 6.29) parking brake from the brackets on the rear brake calipers;
- remove the rear suspension springs;
- place a jack with a 0007 crossbar under the rear suspension beam to support the beam and lift it so that the weight of the beam is supported by the jack;

- unscrew four bolts 1 (figure 6.30) fastenings of the support brackets of the rear suspension beam;
- carefully lower the rear suspension beam and remove it from under the vehicle.
To install the rear suspension beam:

- install centering bolts 0542 1 (figure 6.31) on each side of the body;
- raise and position the rear suspension beam so that the support brackets are guided into place using the centering bolts;
- unscrew the centering bolts 0542 1 (see Figure 6.31) through technological holes in the support brackets;
- screw in bolts 1 (see Figure 6.30) fastenings of the rear suspension beam support brackets and tighten them to a torque of 62 N·m;
- install the rear suspension springs in place;
- connect the brake hoses;
- connect the electrical connectors of the ABS sensors and secure the parking brake cable with a clamp;
- bleed the brake system;
- install two plastic protective covers under the car;
- set the car's suspension to the middle position;
- tighten the lower shock absorber mounting bolts and nuts to 57 N·m;
- install the wheels and secure them with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 90 Nm.
