- raise and secure the car, while hanging the rear wheels;

- install a hydraulic strut under the lower spring support plate (jack) 2 (see fig. 6.32) and slightly compress the spring through a wooden block;
- unscrew the nut and remove the bolt 1 (pic. 6.32) lower shock absorber mount;

- remove bolts 1 (pic. 6.33) top mount and remove the shock absorber from the vehicle.
To install the rear shock absorber:
- install the shock absorber, screw in the upper mounting bolts and tighten them to a torque of 62 Nm;
- fasten the shock absorber to the rear suspension beam with a bolt and nut 1 (see fig. 6.32), by tightening the nut by hand;
- set the car suspension to the middle position;
- tighten the bolts and nuts of the lower mounting of the shock absorbers to 57 Nm.
