- raise and secure the car, while hanging the rear wheels;
- remove the rear wheels;

- unscrew the bolts, remove the rear brake caliper 1 (pic. 6.40) and tie the caliper to the body with soft wire. The caliper must not hang on the brake hose;
- using the blade of a screwdriver as a lever, remove the protective cap 3 covering the hub fastening nut;
- unscrew the bolt and remove the brake disc;
- remove the ABS sensor;

- on the reverse side of the protective casing of the rear brake, unscrew the four bolts 1 (pic. 6.41) and remove the complete hub, bearing and hub axle.
To install the hub assembly:
- install the hub axle and fasten it with bolts, having previously applied a thin layer of FREIN FILET grease to the bolt threads;
- tighten the bolts to 63 Nm;
- install the ABS sensor and fix it with a bolt, tightening it with a torque of 8 Nm;
- install the brake disc and secure it with a bolt, tightening it with a torque of 10 N·m;
- install the caliper and secure it with bolts, tightening them with a torque of 53 Nm;
- install protective cap 3 covering the hub fastening nut;
- install wheels.
