Turn off the ignition and remove the key. Disconnect the accessory drive belt (see section "Engine and control systems").
Note: The rotor shaft has a left-hand thread.
Remove the pulley and nut using a socket wrench and socket.
Remove the dust cover.
Remove the pulley from the rotor shaft as shown in the figure.
Remove the pulley.
Installation
Install the pulley and nut.
Tighten the nut.
Install the accessory drive belt (see section "Engine and control systems").
Installing a pulley with an overrunning clutch
Screw the pulley onto the rotor shaft.
Tighten the nut.
Install the dust cover.
Install the accessory drive belt (see section "Engine and control systems").
