Note. The use of worn spark plugs leads to increased fuel consumption and increased levels of toxic emissions in the form of exhaust gases.
Correct spark plugs
The color of the end face of the insulator near the trawl electrode changes from bright white to brown. Significant soot can be observed on the electrode, do not affect the operation of the spark plug.
Strong wear of the central electrode
As a rule, such a defect leads to misfiring, especially during acceleration, poor engine starting and unstable idling.
In this case, a mandatory replacement of the spark plugs is recommended.
Nagar, consisting of hydrocarbons
With such a defect, the electrodes of the candle are covered with a greasy, shiny soot.
The reasons for this may be: excessive oil ingress into the combustion chambers, too high oil level or worn piston rings, cylinder liners and (or) valve guide bushings, signs of such a defect can be: poor start of a cold engine, sluggish reaction to pressing the accelerator pedal, interruptions in ignition, unstable idling, bluish smoke in the exhaust gases.
In this case, a mandatory replacement of the spark plugs is recommended.
