The service life of drive shafts depends on driving style. You should not "jump" from a standstill, forcing the wheels to spin, or start off at full throttle with the wheels turned to one side.
Noises in the operation of the drive shafts of the wheels, as always, arise suddenly and can stop just as suddenly. Rhythmic clicking noises when pressing the accelerator pedal or when coasting indicate a defective outer CV joint.
If you feel vibration in the steering wheel when the wheels are turned to one side, this is a sign of damage to the outer CV joint.
